The history of «Energomontazh» originates in famous trust PTEM/(SHEA) — Pivdenteploehergomontazh (South-heat-and-power-assembly) — which was a part of all-union Central Authority «Soyuzenergomontazg». The main activity of PTEM was assembly of heat and power equipment of heat and atomic electric power stations within limits of Soviet Union and abroad (including Iran, Pakistan, Vietnam, Argentina, on Cuba, and also in Germany, Finland, Hungary and Bulgaria). The trust foundation was formed of qualified engineering and technical, high-class experts on equipment assembling and electric welding of pipelines.

Production cooperative «Energomontazh» was established on the base of Lviv assembly management on May 25, 1990, and the best experts formed a part of it. Newly formed enterprise was headed by Vyacheslav Andriyovych Folomyeyev, an experienced engineer with the work experience of many electric power stations assembly, in particular Thermal Power Station Keratsini and Cardia in Greece, on Zayinska Water Power Station in Russia, on Ladyzhinska, Byrshtynska, Dobrotvorska Thermal Power Stations, Rivne and Chernobyl Nuclear Power Station in Ukraine.

Despite complicated economic situation in the country at that time, this cooperative managed not only to stay afloat, but also to occupy a niche in big and small power engineering on the territory of the Western Ukraine. Production cooperative «Ennergomontazh» executed works on assembling, reconstruction, repair of heat and power equipment and pipelines of electric power stations, boiler-houses and other production objects.

In the process of development the collective was supplemented with experts of production association «Lvivatomenergoremont», which did works on repair and starting-up of heat and power equipment of thermal and nuclear electric power stations. The cooperative became the Collective Production Enterprise «Energomontazh», headed by V.A. Folomyeyev up to now.

The enterprise had to enlarge the list of given services because of the increasing number of clients and market demands. Projecting department and the experts on starting-up and adjustment works appeared apart from assembling crews. Number of people working on the enterprise increased up to 250 people.

CPE «Energomontazh» began to collaborate with German company LOOS International in 2002 and began to work at industrial power engineering — reconstruction of boiler-houses of industrial enterprises with installation of steam boilers LOOS of German production.

In 2006, when the Cabinet of the Ministers of Ukraine began to finance housing and municipal branch actively, CPE «Energomontazh» concentrated on modernization of municipal boiler-houses with introduction of energy-saving technologies and installation of Viessmann boilers of German production.

Active development of estate property market gave a stimulus to organization of additional priority tendency in 2007, namely, construction activity. Apart from construction of industrial objects, CPE «Energomontazh» began to work at civil construction, where the enterprise is the direct executor of works, the client and the investor.

A list of works executed by the enterprise includes a wide range of construction works, including roof repair, facades reconstruction, substitution of windows, doors, internal and external decoration etc.
